I'm Fred.

I spent nearly a decade at ?What If! Innovation, part of Accenture, partnering with clients across Fortune 500 companies to accelerate their top-line growth and margin expansion by using innovation methodologies, AI, and technology to invent, pilot, iterate, and scale new products, services, and business ventures into the market - and, to transform and hardwire new ways of working internally within their enterprise to spark a culture of agility and innovation.

Throughout my career, I've partnered with executive and senior leaders across multiple industries, including healthcare, financial services, consumer packaged goods, retail, technology, automotive, public service, and nonprofit.

Today, I serve both in fractional executive roles and as an independent advisor, helping clients navigate innovation challenges and achieve sustainable growth through a much more flexible and cost-effective partnership model.

Prior to my consulting career, I worked with one of the largest economic development agencies in New York City, pioneering new services and promoting growth in emerging sectors. I hold a Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University, where I deepened my expertise in human-centered design—a cornerstone of my approach today.

I'm now settled in Brooklyn, but as a transplant from Vancouver, Canada, you can find me doing all the cliché things Pacific Northwesterners do—namely hiking, camping, and enjoying ketchup potato chips.
